【摘要】:Thisspecificationcoverscastandwroughtgalvaniczincanodesforthecathodicprotectionofmorenoblemetalsandalloysinseawater,brackishwater,orothersalineelectrolytes.TypeIanodesaremostcommonlyusedforsuchapplications.TheTypeIanodecompositioninthisspecificationmeetsthechemicalcompositionrequirementsofMIL-A-18001J.Zincanodesconformingtothisspecificationmaybeusedinotherwaters,electrolytes,backfills,andsoilswhereexperiencehasshownthatthespecifiedcompositionisefficientandreliable.TypeIIanodesaremostcommonlyusedforsuchapplications.Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.ItistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtobecomefamiliarwithallhazardsincludingthoseidentifiedintheappropriateMaterialDataSheetforthisproduct/materialasprovidedbythemanufacturer,toestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpractices,anddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
