【摘要】:Thisstandardspecifiesrequirementsforbondedfingerjointsandminimumrequirementsforthemanufactureofcut,interlocking,bondedfingerjointsinstructuraltimbermembers.Requirementsaregivenfortimber,adhesive,moisturecontent,cuttingandbonding.Thisstandardisonlyapplicabletofingerjointsbetweentimbermembersofthesamespeciestype.Althoughmostfingerjointsareproducedinconiferousspeciesthisstandardalsoappliestobroad-leavedspecieswhereinformationisavailabletoenablethemtobesatisfactorilybonded.Itdoesnotcoverimpressed(die-formed)joints.Inthecaseofgluedlaminatedtimberitappliesonlytoindividuallaminations.LargefingerjointsingluedlaminatedtimberarecoveredbyEN387.N~TEThisstandardiselaboratedasasupportingstandardforaharmonizedstandardonstructuraltimberwithfingerjointstobepublishedinthefuture.
