【摘要】:1.1Thisclassificationsystemcoversphenoliccompoundssuitableforcompression,transfer,orinjectionmolding,oracombinationthereof.1.2Thisclassificationsystemisintendedtobeameansofcallingoutplasticmaterialsusedinthefabricationofenditemsorparts.Itisnotintendedfortheselectionofmaterials.Materialselectionshouldbemadebythosehavingexpertiseintheplasticsfieldaftercarefulconsiderationofthedesignandtheperformancerequiredofthepart,theenvironmenttowhichitwillbeexposed,thefabricationprocesstobeemployed,theinherentpropertiesofthematerialotherthanthosecoveredbythisclassificationsystem,andtheeconomics.1.3Thepropertiesincludedinthisclassificationsystemarethoserequiredtoidentifythecompositionscovered.Theremaybeotherrequirementsnecessarytoidentifyparticularcharacteristicsimportanttospecializedapplications.Thesewillbeagreeduponbetweentheuserandthesupplier,byusingthesuffixesspecifiedinSection5.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.5Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodportion,Section13ofthisclassificationsystem:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note18212;ISO800-1992(E)issimilarbutnotequivalenttothisclassificationsystem.Productclassificationandcharacterizationarenotthesame.
