【摘要】:Thesetestmethodsincludemostoftheimportanttestsusedtocharacterizeheat-shrinkabletubing.Theyareintendedprimarilyfor,butnotlimitedto,extrudedheat-shrinkabletubing.Variationsinthesetestmethodsoralternatecontemporarymethodsofmeasurementmaybeusedtodeterminethevaluesforthepropertiesinthisstandardprovidedsuchmethodsensurequalitylevelsandmeasurementaccuracyequaltoorbetterthanthoseprescribedherein.Itistheresponsibilityoftheorganizationsusingalternatetestmethodstobeabletodemonstratethiscondition.Incasesofdispute,themethodsspecifiedhereinshallbeused.Note28212;Provisionforalternatemethodsisnecessarybecauseof(1)thedesiretosimplifyproceduresforspecificapplicationswithoutalteringtheresult,and(2)thedesiretoeliminateredundanttestingandusedatageneratedduringmanufacturingprocesscontrol,includingthatgeneratedunderStatisticalProcessControl(SPC)conditions,usingequipmentandmethodsotherthanthosespecifiedherein.Anexamplewouldbetheuseoflasermicrometersoropticalcomparatorstomeasuredimensions.1.1Thesetestmethodscoverthetestingofheat-shrinkabletubingusedforelectricalinsulation.Materialsusedincludepoly(vinylchloride),polyolefins,fluorocarbonpolymers,siliconerubber,andotherplasticorelastomericcompounds.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard,exceptfortemperature,whichshallbeexpressedindegreesCelsius.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.3Theproceduresappearinthefollowingsections:Procedure
