【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversmineralfiberthermalinsulatingmaterialsintheformofdrycement,which,whenmixedwithasuitableproportionofwater,appliedasaplasticmass,anddriedinplace,affordsresistancetoheattransmissiononsurfacesoperatingattemperaturesbetween250and1900176F(about121and1038176C).1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.3Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodssectionofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
