【摘要】:Thisguideisintendedforuseintheselection,design,andinstallationofthermoplasticwatersystemsforuseoutsidebuildings.Forspecificprojects,athoroughreviewofthisguideisrecommendedforthepurposeofselectingspecificmaterials,methodsofjoining,systemdesignfactor,andanyspecialproceduresdeemednecessarytoassureasatisfactorysystem.Itisrecommendedthatgoverningcodesandprojectspecificationsbeconsultedpriortotheuseofthisguide.Nothinginthisguideshouldbeconstruedasrecommendingpracticesorsystemsatvariancewithgoverningcodesandprojectspecifications.Units-ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Valuesinparenthesesareforinformationalpurposesonly.Thevaluesineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents,therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesforthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.Thepipe,fittings,andjoiningmaterialsshallmeettherequirementsofoneormoreofthefollowingcomponentproductstandardslistedinthroughtotheextentapplicable.Thosepipestandardsfollowedby(a)areoutsidediameter-controlledpipes.Thosefollowedby(b)areinsidediameter-controlledpipes.1.3.1Pipeswithwallthicknesseslessthan1.50mm(0.06in.)arenotrecommended.OtherJoiningDevices-Joiningdevicesotherthanthosecoveredbythelistedstandardsmaybeselectedbytheuseronthebasisofhisownengineeringevaluationandserviceexperience.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblems,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
